Playing Next in Birmingham …

Pah!  Nothing in the diary!

Follow us on Twitter or hop on the Mailing List and we’ll let you know when something good is coming to town!

Town Hall/Symphony Hall in Birmingham occasionally programme touring flamenco artists … check them out at thsh.co.uk

Other UK Flamenco …

Often worth checking out the main London venues for major touring artists – The Barbican, King’s Place, Sadlers Wells and the South Bank/Festival Hall, as well as both the London Jazz Festival, who have recently programmed Paco de Lucia and Chick Corea over the last couple of years, and the IGF Guitar Festivals in London and further afield.

Regionally, check out the regular sessions in Bristol that are often run by the excellent guitarist Cuffy; in Warwickshire, you will often find another very fine guitarist, David Shepherd, performing in the area; in Leeds, visit leedspena.co.uk for the latest happenings, and in nearby Hebden Bridge, a new pena has started – visit hebdenbridgeflamenco.org.uk for info.

Phil Johnson’s fine programming at St George’s Bristol always brings an excellent and varied world/jazz programme, and The Sage in Gateshead can also be trusted to throw in some top-notch jazz and world based music every few weeks.  You can of course find a few flamenco goings-on most weeks in London via Google and the various companies and artists based in and around the capital.
